This year's theme is finding truths.
The purpose of SPEAK Community Theater is to show youth that they are the keepers of the key to change. We believe that our youth are the leaders of today and tomorrow. Our goal is to encourage the youth of our generation to use their creative talents to SPEAK up on any matter that concerns them.

SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT
"Today's youth are often fronted with never ending societal pressures and norms to adhere to. Their concerns go unnoticed by lawmakers, and their talents are suppressed. Creative arts programs are cut in schools and our children are restricted to mundane learning. I created SPEAK Community Theater to prompt our youth, who are too often told to keep quiet, to speak up. SPEAK strikes to welcome and nurture the voices of today's youth by allowing them to speak on issues that concern them through their creative talents. We at SPEAK believe a closed mouth does not get fed."
